Loving the light. The weather has been weird around here which has made for some dramatic lighting. This week started out cold and had a some super spectacular sunrises and sunsets. I can't get enough of the pastel color palette nature has going on right now. It's awesome.
Waiting for snow. Still. In the last 7 days the temperature has gone from -4 to almost 30 degrees. And now it's raining.
Eating all the food. I'm 5 days into eating no sugar or other junk and things are going well. Day 3 was tough (super hungry/snacky all day), but it's been better from there on out. It's all about being prepared so when 3pm hits and you are all of a sudden starving, having an "approved" snack to eat is key to not ruining everything.
Preparing for the next semester of school to start. This is where things get tricky. I'm taking 3 classes this semester, one of which is pharmacology which I was not at all good at the first time around. This time I have to learn all the things I need to know to prescribe these medications, not just administer them. Yikes. #toomuchresponsibility
Drinking tea like it's going out of style. Part of my latest eating adventure is getting rid of caffeine (temporarily of course)...which has involved a finely tuned scale back process and lots of non-caffeinated tea consumption. Tea also seems to be good for the after dinner munchies. A cup of tea is a much better bedtime pregame than a snack or a sugary drink (i.e. hot chocolate).
Have a great weekend!
