In addition to my January Funk (yes, now it has a name...thanks B!), yesterday I had a bad case of the Mondays. Like, bad. I went to work and had 30 messages in my inbox (i.e. tasks to be done), tried to break my printer at work twice, and every time I started doing something I got paged for labs (part of my job is doing the paperwork for people who drop in for labs).
After work I came home and went for a run. It wasn't really a run, it was more of a power walk. I'm doing HR training and I had to power walk to keep my HR in range. Obviously I've done more sitting than exercising over the last couple of months if that was the case!
It was nice to get out and not worry about school or work after a busy day. It was also pretty satisfying to check off the first tiny box in my giant training plan spreadsheet!
John was off watching the Oregon game, so I was on my own for dinner. Fortunately I thought to throw something in the crockpot so it was easy.
Then I had to tackle the giant pile of school work I have. This semester is going to be challenging. I'm taking three classes (pharmacology, health assessment, and clinical management of well women and children). In the first lecture for every one of these classes, the instructor mentions how much work each of them are going to be. I'm not sure I'm excited about having to take them all together.
I spent my evening listen to lectures. There are FIVE for my first week of pharm and the first lecture for health assessment is THREE HOURS long. I'm not really sure how I am going to make this happen...but I will. John volunteered to cook dinner every night...so that's a start!
Happy Tuesday (and thank goodness it's not Monday anymore)!
